The JMF has initiated a new research program to study the presentation and outcome of rare conditions. Using its database, which includes high numbers of various genotypes around the world, JMF is able to provide an excellent platform for collaboration. Investigators working with JMF will gain access to this international database and be able to contact physician/researchers that have a large number of patients with various specific defects, in order to coordinate studies.
