  Hi

I used JMF and Immune Disease Foundation to find a doctor in my state who specializes in Immune Deficiencies.
Thank God both places recommended the SAME PHYSICIAN and this doctor is wonderful..
Why not first try to find a doctor who is an expert at PID's and then they can get the proper testing and treatments for your infections/allergies

I just started ALLEGRA and ASTROPRO Spray because the FUNGUS and STAPH Infections in my sinuses were causing severe allergies... so with the anti-fungals and anti-biotics the histimines will now be calmed down as well.
Hope this helps a bit
God blesss and Hugs
Rose

I have found that persistent sinus problems can also be associated with bowel problems like diarhea or constipation.  I use probiotics and avoid dairy and sugar since that makes the sinus problems worse.  I also use echinacea, a natural herb, to help increase the immune system naturally.  It even comes in a liquid.Text

My name is Theresa and I am a registered nurse but I am now on disability due to my IGg deficiency.Apparently a poor immune system& caring for sick people does mot mix.I have had &been treated for sinus infections so severe I have been on IV antibiotics, ospitalized with 104 fever.A few months ago I had my 8th sinus surgery-I had what they call inferior windows put in.They remove a small 0 shaped piece of bone in your sinuses at the check to encourage drainage. Most people with immune deficiencies have problems with the cilia(litle nose hairs)& they are the things that help "brush" out bacteria & mucus.Since the surgery I have not had an infection which is some kind of record for me.Talk to your family MD&see if they will send you to an ear nose&throat MD.Good Luck.If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me.Theresa Baron

my son was born with a sinus infection. Since he was 8months old his doctor which is one of the experts for pi has had him on antibiotics proflaxty .  Meaning he take an antibiotic everyday to help prevent the sinus issues.  We also found out there were other thing contributing to the sinus issues.  He still get them to this day but way less than he does if not on the antibiotics.  Plus his sinus wall is always filled with mucus in the nose and throat . It's a part of his PI .  See if you can find an expert from this site. It's well worth talking to someone who specialize in this.  I wish I knew about this site when son was born.  I went through 45 doctors and 6 hospitals even a children's hospital all in the first 8 months of his life.  Before luck just happen to set me in to the lap of Dr. Knutsen and Cardinal Glennon.  I hope this helps some.
