A Note from Vicki & Fred

Dear Friends,

What an incredible year this has been for the JMF! As you can see, 1998 was a period of important scientific discovery, and vigorous activity in physician education, patient support, public awareness, and research.

All of that was made possible by all of you with your support, and most importantly, with your participation. Whether it was the "Spring Ahead" Gala, K.I.D.S Day, the Golf Outing, the "Cinderella Ball," or just a few words of encouragement. You were always there with us…Good friends who have been steadfast and enthusiastic from the very beginning. And now, so many new friends! Our sincerest thanks.

But you know we have a long way to go. The journey is not yet over. The daily struggles of more that a half-million Americans who suffer with primary immune deficiency diseases can be devastating. Just read Linda Gonzalez's "Story of a Survivor", on page 2 to get some idea of what kind of an impact you are having on people's lives.

Stay with it. You are the strength of Jeffrey's Foundation. Let's win this struggle!
