"The Couple of the Year" JMF Salutes Lnne and Caleb Koeppel According to Vicki Modell, "This is the first time that the Foundation
has honored a couple, and everyone seems to agree that the Koeppels are an excellent choice. Lynne and Caleb individually and together reflect the extraordinary qualities that make them leaders in this community. They have
always been enthusiastic supporters of the JMF, having special compassion for children and others less fortunate. We are truly honored." Caleb D. Koeppel began his career in real estate while still at school.
Between 1976 and 1979, he managed residential buildings in the metropolitan New York area and worked at Cushman & Wakefield in their midtown New York office. Upon graduating from law school in 1981, Mr.
Koeppel resumed his career in real estate. In addition to managing a number of residential buildings, Mr. Koeppel assumed the leasing responsibilities at 26 Broadway, an approximately 600,000 square foot
office building in the financial district of New York City. During the past seventeen years, he has been responsible for the leasing at that building and more recently at 575 Lexington Avenue, as well.
Among the tenants with whom Mr. Koeppel has concluded transactions, as either the building agent or the procuring broker, are the Bear Stearns Companies, Inc.; Kirkpatrick & Lockhart; E.F. Hutton; Standard & Poor's
Corporation; Herzog Heine Geduld, Inc.; the Quick & Reilly Group, Inc.; Rising Tide Entertainment; David J. Greene & Company; and Janney Montgomery Scott, Inc. A founder of Koeppel Tener Real Estate Services,
Inc., Mr. Koeppel is active in the day to day operations of that company as well as new investments. Mr. Koeppel is a member of The Real Estate Board of New York, Inc.,
The American Bar Association, The New York State Bar Association, and the 1998 Chairman of The Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association of New York, Inc. He serves on other boards including the
Mount Sinai Children's Center, and is active in numerous charitable endeavors in New York and nationally. Lynne G. Koeppel became the first active woman and the youngest
member of the American Stock Exchange in 1977, upon her graduation from the University of Pennsylvania. Since leaving Wall Street, she has been busy raising her five children and is active in many charitable
causes and community activities. On the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Declaration of the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women by the United Nations, Ms.
Koeppel was recognized as a Legendary Woman in a celebration of the achievements of women sponsored by the United Nations Educational and Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the United
Nations Development Fund (UNIFEM). Other women receiving this recognition included Bianca Jagger, Antonia Novello, Kitty Carlisle Hart, and Sonia Rykiel. Lynne and Caleb Koeppel are well known for their commitment to
