New England K.I.D.'s Day Stan and Nancy Graziano, of Atkinson, New
Hampshire, assumed the leadership, and, within a matter of weeks, a newsletter was distributed. Last June, a joyous K.I.D.S. Day celebration was held in Boston. This first event received the
enthusiastic financial support of pharmaceutical giants Baxter, Caremark, Centeon, and Coram Healthcare. Friendly Ice Cream Corporation contributed refreshments, and entertainment was provided by Okedoke Karaoke. |

Last year, Vicki and Fred Modell met with a group of families in the Boston area to
encourage them to create a local organization. As a result of that meeting, the New England Primary Immune Deficiency Network, (NEPID), was quickly established.
The fun included kid's Karaoke, a face painting clown, cotton candy, parachute games,
limbo, musical chairs, and relay races with prizes. All participants went home with a T-shirt and a goody bag. Parents and children went home happy, with the reassurance that they were not alone in this struggle.
