In November 2007, we were thrilled to open the doors of the Jeffrey Modell Immunology Center (JMIC) at Harvard Medical School. The center is a tribute to Jeffrey’s legacy, and our ongoing commitment to educating future generations of immunologists for years to come.

We envisioned a new home for the most brilliant investigators, researchers, graduate students, medical students, and faculty to participate in lectures, grand rounds, laboratory research, and other educational activities. We hoped that this new space would encourage collaboration and provide a meaningful and vibrant learning environment for students and faculty alike. Jeffrey would be proud to have his name on this building knowing that it generates inquiry, discovery, and scientific collaboration to improve the quality of life for people living with PI.

Harvard is a place to achieve excellence! We are proud to award the Scientist of the Future Award to a Jeffrey Modell Scholar each year to honor excellence in their graduate career and dissertation.

We are grateful to the physicians, board members, pharmaceutical partners, Harvard administrators, and so many others who have supported our efforts over the years. Learn more here.
