In honor of National Science Week, this week we’ll be sharing more about our research programs, treatments for Primary Immunodeficiency, the importance of exercise and diet, and more!

We are proud to support groundbreaking research for Primary Immunodeficiency by providing funding through our three research programs. To date, we’ve awarded more than $6.5 million to outstanding researchers across the globe!

  1. The Translational Research Program supports innovative and novel investigations focused on the underlying mechanisms of immune function and dysfunction, to lead to advances in clinical recognition, diagnostic tools, and innovative therapies.
  2. The Specific Defect Research Program supports research that studies the mechanisms and presentation of specific defects of the immune system to gain a better understanding of the defects and their impact on overall health outcomes.
  3. The c.h.i.l.d.r.e.n.! Research Program supports research focused on children living with PI and aims to address healthcare disparities through education, testing, diagnosis, and treatment. This program investigates immunological disorders, infectious disease, and initiatives to decrease infant mortality.
